The overall purpose of the project "Digital education in nursing" project (DEN) is to modernize the existing curriculum for nursing students by developing digital modules regarding lectures/examinations into new forms of education. The project will run for 24 months. The project consortium consists of five partner organisations representing five EU countries (Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Sweden). All partner organizations have a strong tradition in nursing education and have already successfully collaborated in a European (Erasmus +) project. All partners organisations have worked with digital nursing education at a different level during pandemic 2020.

At the end of August 2021, the international development project Quality mentorship for developing competent nursing students (QualMent), that was impelmeted within the Erasmus + program, Strategic Partnerships in Higher Education, was officially completed. Activities continue even after the official completion of the project.

The College of Nursing in Celje is the coordinator of the European development and research project Quality mentorship for developing competent nursing students (QualMent), which was selected under the Erasmus + Program, Strategic Partnerships in Higher Education.

Presentation of the MICE-ICU project at the 51st professional seminar entitled Delirium, sedation and analgesia.

New international inter-institutional agreement between College of Nursing in Celja and University of Dubrovnik (www.unidu.hr) has been signed.

From 16th till 20th April we hosted guest lecturer dr. Helvi Kyngas from University of Oulu, Finland.

On Wednesday, 18th of April 2018, we hosted international expert dr. Vojko Kavčič who is a researcher at the Institute of Gerontology at Wayne State University in Detroit

In the framework of the project "Strengthening the Integration of the College of Nursing in Celje into the International Area", prof. dr. Julita Sansoni from Sapienza, University of Rome implemented lectures on the importance of research in nursing care for postgraduate students and higher education teachers. The lectures were held from 9th till 11th April 2018.

On Tuesday, 3th April 2018, we attended a working meeting at the Nurses and Midwives Association of Slovenia - Association of Professional Associations of Nurses, Midwives and Healthcare Technicians of Slovenia, where two members of the international project team MICE-ICU, senior lecturer dr. Boris Miha Kaučič and lecturer Barbara Smrke presented the international research and development of the project Multicultural Care and European Intensive Care Units (MICE-ICU).
