The College of Nursing in Celje is the coordinator of the European development and research project Quality mentorship for developing competent nursing students (QualMent), which was selected under the Erasmus + Program, Strategic Partnerships in Higher Education.

The project is being implemented from 1st September 2018 till 31st December 2020. The partners in the project are: the European Federation of Nursing Associations (EFN), the University of Oulu (Finland), the University of Alicante (Spain) and the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.

 Within the project, we will develop an educational program for clinical mentors for the quality implementation of clinical placement for students in the undergraduate study programs nursing. On the basis of research evidence, we will develop a model of competencies that will form the basis for the preparation of an educational program for clinical mentors. The training program will be tested in the period 2019-2020 in the form of lectures, training workshops and distance learning.
