At the College of Nursing in Celje we are currently implementing a development and research project HLAW- Healthy Lifestyle for Aging Well, which has been approved in the framework of the Erasmus programme + KA2 - Strategic Partnerships in Higher Education. This two-year European project is coordinated by the College of Nursing in Celje, and takes place in collaboration with three higher education institutions from abroad (Medical University of Lublin, Faculty of Health Sciences, Poland, University of Oulu, Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Health Sciences, Finland and the Cooperativa de La Superior Politecnico e Universitário-CESPO, Portugal). At the time from May 24th to June 5th, 2015, we organize at the College of Nursing in Celje the international summer school HLAW (IP 2015), at which nursing students of nursing from Finland, Poland, Portugal and Slovenia are going to participate.

This year's symposium, which took place on April 9th, 2015, under the title "The Participation of Professionals in the Palliative Team for a Holistic Treatment of Patients and Families", was attended by more than 110 participants from medical and social institutions from the entire Slovenian territory. The meeting was held under the Honorary Auspices of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Slovenia.

Six students and two higher education teachers of the College of Nursing in Celje, took part at the 3rd European Conference of Nursing Students, organised by the Medical University of Lublin. At the Conference, in addition to Slovene and Polish students, also students from Germany and Great Britain have participated. The organization of the next, 4th Conference, which will take place in 2016, has been taken over by the College of Nursing in Celje.

On Monday, 10th November, 2014, the first meeting of Erasmus Partner Institutions, participating in the international project Erasmus+, KA2, Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education, entitled "Healthy lifestyle for aging well", was held at the College of Nursing in Celje. The project coordinator is The College of Nursing in Celje.

Students are invited to participate in an international project entitled »Healthy Lifestyle for Aging Well« (HLAW). The project addresses current issues related to the ageing of the population, which is rapidly becoming one of the biggest social and economic challenges of the the 21st century Europe.

The students of the College of Nursing in Celje will be in April 2015 attending the 3rd European Conference of Nursing Students, organized this year by the Medical University of Lublin. In addition to Slovenian and Polish students, students from Germany and Great Britain will participate at the Conference as well.
