International cooperation

With acquisition of its first Erasmus University Charter, its organisation and implementation of mobility and cooperation in international projects College of Nursing in Celje has proved its strong orientation in an international arena and in European cooperation. Through its participation in the new programme Erasmus +, and after acquiring the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the period of 2014-2020 (256298-EPP-1-2014-1-SI-EPPKA3-ECHE) College of Nursing in Celje has only enhanced and upgraded its international orientation.

We are successfully making contacts with foreign higher education institutions in the field of health and nursing care and we are aiming at acquiring assets while applying for tenders published by Centre of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes (CMEPIUS). We will keep focusing on such tenders in the future in order to provide our students and teaching staff with information and financial support in the process of their international mobility.

We are aware that international cooperation and exchange have a significant value in assuring the quality of the college itself. For this reason integrating European dimension in the college settings shall be one of the first priorities of the college. We encourage our students to perform and complete one part of their study obligations abroad and thus to gain relevant experience and knowledge in foreign countries and cultures which can prepare them for a better and easier life and work in an ever changing world.

We as well encourage higher education teaching professionals to cooperate in international exchanges and projects. This is the way how to contribute to exchange of knowledge, experience, ideas, cases of good practice etc. New knowledge, competences and experiences are incorporated into the work of the college.

We have established an international office in order to support international cooperation of the college and this office provides students and teaching staff with all necessary information and counselling.

College of Nursing in Celje has entirely implemented the Bologna system which enables domestic and foreign students to recognise their newly acquired knowledge, skills and ETCS credit points.
